This is a wonderstone rhyolite that we mined in the Vernon Hills, Utah. The volcanic rocks’ color : maroon and yellow-brown, are caused by the presence of iron oxides. We shaped and polished it and then I wrapped it in copper wire and made a scorpion for the face of the pendant.
