Dino Bone Hippo Carving in sterling silver

Genuine Dinosaur bone which can only be attained from licensed dealers was used to carve this head of a hippo 90% submerged in a river. It’s was carved by Bob and set in sterling silver by Jeanette. Dino bone that is agatized takes on the colors of the minerals in the area it was buried and is highly prized for jewelry especially with red coloration. This bone was recovered in Utah and bought from a local dealer. Unique in that it works well for both women or men.
